Exhibition Stand for Maver Fishing Tackle – October 2015
Client: Maver UK Ltd. Importer/manufacturer of fishing tackle
Brief:
We were asked to provide a solution for the clients exhibition stand at the Guns and Tackle Show in Stoneleigh. We were provided with a list of products the client wished to exhibit and asked to come back with some ideas to fit within the budget constraints (c.£10k). The stand area was 13m x 6m, open on all 4 sides, and was to include a motorbike as a central feature. The key request was to keep the space ‘open’ and to have room to display up to 12 large tackle boxes and 10-15 carbon fishing poles along with numerous accessories/nets etc.
Solution:
After receiving the brief we created an initial 3D model of a stand proposal. It became apparent at this stage that, in order to provide a solution within the budget, we would need to hire a modular aluminium system to the customer. This was well received and after a few small alterations the final design was agreed on (images inc.). Once the basic design was agreed we then produced graphic artwork from the customers images to fit our system and printed all the graphics direct to foamex so they could easily slot into our hired system. We also designed a bespoke rod stand which we manufactured from black foamex using the Zund cutter. Various MDF plinths were produced in order to display tackle boxes and the customer supplied a plinth for the motorbike.
We then built the stand for the customer and after the show did the strip out. I have included various images of the completed stand and of the build-up.
