CONTEXT
The County Cricket Ground also known as the Racecourse Ground; currently the Incora County Ground due to sponsorship; is a cricket ground in Derby, England. It has been the home of Derbyshire County Cricket Club since 1871
With the UK Government recently giving the green light on recreational Cricket, we reflect on the great work we did last month at Derbyshire County Cricket Club. We teamed up with our friends Three Guru, who did an amazing job on the design front, while our Large Format Digital Printing Hub produced and installed the grounds signage
THE PROJECT
The main objective was to update their perimeter/on-site sponsorship signage from the existing Pattonair sponsor, to the new Incora sponsor. Our customer also wanted us to improve their directional traffic instructions from the road into the ground which we achieved with a mix of digitally printed Dibond signage and interchangeable event bannertrack systems. The bannertrack systems are a great way to advertise events, especially from the road side to capture both vehicle and pedestrian traffic. It offers the option to display a banner on the front of the signage and when you take away the advertisement banner, it displays the customers generic message underneath – in DCCC case they wanted it to display their directional map
