LTA - Event Signage Aegon Open Nottingham

In early November of 2015 we were invted to an ‘Apprentice’ style pitch to the LTA (Lawn Tennis Association) at their prestigious headquarters in Roehampton, London.

As an outcome to this, and following weeks of nervous anticipation, we are extremely proud to have been given the opportunity of producing all of the Event Signage for the 2016 & 2017 Aegon Open Nottingham, held during June at the Nottingham Tennis Centre.

The objective that we were asked to help with was to transform both the exterior and interior of the Centre giving it a totally unique appearance.

In order for this to happen, months of careful planning and liaising took place, working very closely with the Event staff, selecting the best possible medias and installation methods to promote the brand at the highest level, whilst maintaining their budget.

As this was a televised event we needed to ensure that all of the signage, particularly on Centre Court, was of the upmost quality, so we drew heavily on our years of experience gained in producing and implementing large format graphic installations. This gave our client an added confidence in us that ensured that we were the right people to handle this job.

Design work for all the Event Signage commenced in early 2016 with installation scheduled to take place during May and June, right up-to and including the events’ commencement.

All of the installation and de-rig of the Event Signage has been managed and carried out by our team of IPAF trained fitters alongside both the Event & Site Staff, working for long hours (and even weekends) on-site to ensure disruption was kept to a minimum and that it all happened on time.
