“I have been shooting professionally since 1989, off and on, and have covered everything from rock concerts and weddings to crime scenes and castles, and have met hundreds of fascinating people in dozens of amazing places along the way.
I often tell people that I only photograph three things: “People, products and places: who you are, what you do and where you do it.” This doesn’t leave much out but, truth be known, my biggest thrill in photography is making a portrait of someone who thinks they’re “un-photogenic”, and seeing their face when they realise they’re not.

I also shoot a lot of events and conferences. The coffee is usually terrible, but often the cakes are quite good!
My portrait work has appeared in The Independent and The Guardian.
My ‘places’ work includes shooting natural and industrial landscapes and residential, industrial and commercial interiors. It means I spend a lot of time up to my knees in mud, either up mountains or on construction sites. It’s always worth it.
