Whilst we receive many inquiries on a daily basis for what are essentially simple materials it’s often only as inquiries progress that we come to understand the client’s full requirements.
In this instance following a request for 11 external use DiBond direct printed signs and a number of internal vinyl signage requirements for a client we have worked with in the past, it came to light that these were required for the prestigious Formula E Headquarters at Donington Park.
The work was complete in very short turn around following a site survey by our specialist events sales team and install crew.
Formula E is a new FIA sponsored racing championship for fully electric single seater cars. The championship will commence in September 2014 and run through to June 2015, taking place in locations including London, Beijing & Los Angeles. As with Formula One there will be 10 teams, each with two drivers, not only competing for the championship but also promoting R&D in the sustainability of electric vehicles with core values of energy, environment & entertainment.
All ten teams, including British teams Drayson Racing & Virgin Racing, will be based at Donington Park in a purpose built central workshop which is where the signage we produced will be used for the international press launch which takes place at midday on the 15th of May.
We hope that this project takes off well and that the interest in the championship drives more advances in green energy and sustainable technology.
