Field Printer Service Engineer
John E. Wright offer a sales and aftersales service and support program for large format HP ink jet printers and other equipment including large format scanners.
We currently have an opportunity for an individual with either an existing knowledge of large format printers or an enthusiasm to become involved in this area of technology.
The main duties of the role include
– Installation and configuration of HP Designjet Printers into customer sites
– Installation & configuration of printer drivers onto client workstations (this might be Microsoft Windows & Mac OSX systems)
– Diagnostic fault finding and rectification of faults
– Routine servicing and maintenance
The role is based in the Midlands area. Whilst our head office is in Nottingham we would consider candidates from the West Midlands area, ideally within an hour’s drive from Nottingham
Experience of break / fix support on HP Designjet &/or Laserjet printers and have previously worked in a similar role providing site support would be advantageous but is not essential.
Any HP Printer certification or training would also be considered helpful.
A full UK driving license is essential but above all excellent communication skills, customer service and customer facing skills and a desire to progress will be given full consideration.
