New Year, Renewed Commitment

A New Year brings a renewed commitment to lowering the carbon footprint at John E Wright. The company took delivery of 4 new electric vehicles today bringing the total to 7 within the 18 strong fleet of vehicles the company needs to deliver its CAD and graphics products from its 7 branches throughout the East Midlands, Yorkshire and East of England. Of the near 400,000 miles the company’s fleet travels in a typical year, over 25% of that is now electric.

One Step Closer to Carbon Neutrality

Tony Barnett Managing Director said “These vehicles are ideal for the numerous in town drop offs we do every day for our clients.  Together with investments in lower energy printing technologies and our commitment to the Woodland Trust carbon offset programme, the company has achieved a 35% reduction in its carbon footprint over the past 3 years and hopes to be near net-zero by 2030.”
