John E Wright were asked by Vinci Construction to produce some large adhesive vinyls to install onto the sides of the temporary girders which will pass over the roads at both Queens Road and Station Street during the construction of the new bridge. The bridge will be known as the Karlsruhe Friendship Bridge – named after the German town twinned with Nottingham. From the initial site visit at the Crocus Street works, John E Wright produced and installed eight 2.4m long laminated vinyls just two days later, in time for the local media launch.

The progress of the bridge construction has been closely watched by the local population as it passes over Station Road & Queens Road. We are very pleased to be involved in this project and to be able to work with such a prestigious client. We had a lot of involvement with the first part of the Nottingham Express Transit project prior to its opening in 2004 and very much welcome the opportunity to contribute to these developments that bring both commerce and infrastructure improvements to the city.

We count amongst our clients a large number of construction, architectural & planning organisations and offer a wide variety of services to support this industry.
